Pool Information and Rules

The 2023 pool season runs from Saturday May 27, 2023 through Monday, September 4, 2023. 

Normal Pool hours:

  • 11:00 am – 9:00 pm Sunday thru Friday

  • 10:00 am – 9:00 pm Saturdays

* When the local public schools are in session, 12 pm – 8 pm weekends and 4 pm – 8 pm weekdays.

* The CF Swim Team will host 3 swim meets and the pool will close for the day at 3:30 pm.

Rules:

  • Use: Facility users are allowed in the swimming area ONLY when a life guard is on duty.

  • Admission: Limited to CF residents who are in good standing with the Homeowners Association with annual assessments paid in full. 

  • Age Restriction: Children 12 years of age and up (if deemed qualified for swim safety by life guards*) may come to the pool without an adult. Children 11 years old and younger must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult or registered childcare provider (14 years or older). 

  • Guests: 4 guests per household.

  • Food/Beverages:

    • Snacks and beverages are allowed on the pool deck, provided users clean up afterwards.

    • No glass or gum allowed inside the fenced pool area.

  • Smoking: No smoking or vaping allowed inside fence area.

  • Firearms: No firearms or weapons of any kind allowed on CF common grounds.

  • Clubhouse: No wet bathing suits in the clubhouse.  Feel free to use the bathrooms.  

  • Pool Toys: Pool inflatables over 24” in diameter can be used only with lifeguard’s approval.

Rules of Conduct:

  • Parents or caretakers are responsible for the conduct of their children.

  • Swimmers who require the aid of flotation devices must remain in the shallow end or wading pool, unless accompanied by an adult.

  • Parents and caretakers are to ensure their children can swim if unsupervised in pool. Lifeguards may administer a deep water test for any child at their own discretion.

  • No profanity, improper behavior or intoxication allowed.

  • No running, pushing, fighting, shoving, dunking or rough housing.

  • No sitting or standing allowed on fountain in Wading pool

  • Miscellaneous: 

    • Unnecessary conversation or annoying the life guards while on duty is not permitted.

    • Pets are NOT allowed in the pool area.

    • Pre-toilet trained babies must wear a swim diaper or a cloth diaper with rubber pants while in the pool. NO DISPOSABLE DIAPERS.

    • Shower before entering the pool if you apply oily suntan lotion as these oils interfere with the pool filters.

    • Appropriate swim apparel required – no shorts or cut-offs.

    • No bicycles, scooters, skateboard, roller blades, etc. allowed in pool area.

    • Chairs are primarily for the use of adults. Children should relinquish them to adults if needed.

Failure to comply with the rules and regulations or any safety instructions directed by lifeguards, may result in a temporary or permanent suspension of pool privileges.  If a unique situation occurs that is not covered by these rules, the pool manager or trustees have the authority to make a decision regarding the issue.
